Senior Youth Group

The youth at Zion come from a variety of high schools, but we have one thing that draws us together--a common love for Jesus. It is our goal to grow in faith in Jesus, to support each other to live for Jesus in our daily lives, and to have opportunity for ministry. In all that we do, we want to bring praise to Jesus.

Study Nights
Our typical meetings include a youth-led time of worship followed by the sharing of highlights from the past week. Then we have a Bible Study led by a youth sponsor or one of the youth. After the study we break into smaller prayer groups where we pray for each other. The evening ends with snack and sometimes table games or ping pong.

Other Activities
We attend the annual ACC Fall Retreat and have our own Winter Retreat in a cabin in the woods. We have a variety of service opportunities throughout the year, sometimes going on a longer mission trip. We attend occasional concerts, have game nights, do fundraisers, etc.

Age Range
Senior Youth is for 9th-12th graders, beginning with the fall of 9th grade.
