Zion Mennonite Church

Zion Church is committed to missions, both overseas and local. Our desire is to see God's Kingdom come on Earth, from our immediate neighbors in Robeson Township, to the people in each of our spheres of contact (work, neighborhood, school, civic associations, etc.), to the people in each community represented in our church, to the city of Reading, and wherever we may be

called around the world.

Working for God's Kingdom has called many in our congregation around the nation and around the world. Many of our young adults have served with YES or STAT (part of Eastern Mennonite Missions.)

The Hamer family (Marc, Julie, Kayleigh, Leim, and Erin) are serving with YWAM's Impact World Tour in Scotland. You can learn more about Marc & Julie here.

Zion also supports local missions, such as Freedom Gate (Halfway House), ACTV Christian Television, and the local Justice and Mercy chapter with its New Persons Center (Halfway House and counseling center). Jameson Place is a recently developing children’s ministry in a neighborhood of Reading. Club Worship, a DJ-led praise and worship ministry in a club environment in West Reading, grew out of Zion’s youth ministry.
