Sunday School includes classes for children age two through grade 8. Sunday School from 8:45 - 9:45 am every Sunday morning. Designated teachers for each class lead children in the discovery of biblical truths and the application of those truths to their lives. These discovery and application activities are designed for the developmental uniqueness of each age group. The church also provides Sunday School classes for youth and adults during the same period.
Children's church meets during the worship service every Sunday. After separating into age-appropriate groups ranging from 2 years old to 5th grade, the children spend time learning and growing in their relationships with God through Bible study, stories, crafts, sharing and praying together.
Nursery Care Childcare is provided for infants up to two years during both the Sunday School hour (8:45 - 9:45 am) and the worship service (10:00 am).
Family Night Family nights are held September-May, the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. A meal is provided by our Kitchen Committee from 6:00 - 6:45 pm. Children's classes are available for all age groups from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. This year children in 1st through 5th grades will be "traveling around the world." Each evening a missionary will share with the culture, food, games and stories of a different country. We will enjoy and experience the world God made, be challenged to memorize God's word, and learn virtues that God wants in our lives. There are also activities for Jr. and Sr. Youth, as well as adults.
Vacation Bible School Each summer, usually in July, our church opens its doors for one week of learning and growing the knowledge of God and His Word. Children three years old through grade eight enjoy great worship, singing, stories, activities, and challenges that make the Bible real in their lives. This is a high energy week with lots of hands-on participation. |
